Newfoundland SG12 1860 (15 Aug.) entire ex the Tucker correspondence from St. Johns to Baltimore bearing 4d. orange-vermilion (just-into at left) cancelled by oval of bars showing red despatch c.d.s. partly overstruck by 5/Boston br. pkt. transit c.d.s. (22.8). A neat franking being one of six covers bearing a single 4d. to the US. B.P.A. Certificate (1986).
