Dollis Hill 2d Green AOP Strip with repaired paper removed

The handmade paper used for part of the trials was susceptible to tearing. This strip has been torn during the printing process and has been repaired with tape the repaired paper has then been printed upon. Sometime later the tape has been detached (either deliberately or not).This strip shows machine cuts to the top bottom and left hand margins giving the impression of having been dispensed through an automatic affixing machine. It shows a strong Green phosphor reaction from the front and also a phosphor reaction from the back. Watermark Multiple crowns to the right.
