Papua SG117 1/- Airmail DEEP CARMINE LAKE with Comma Flaw Between I and R of AIR

SG117var 1/- AIRMAIL AIRPLANE overprint in DEEP CARMINE LAKE with Comma Flaw Between I and R of AIR. Only the small first part of the printing received the DEEP colour. Rosenblum stated 10 sheets but more recent research by Mark Robinson and Michael Parr suggests the number is more likely to be around 20 sheets. The flaw (uncorrected) only occurs in conjunction with these printings. So only a maximum of 20 we printed. U/M (the usual yellowish paper and gum).
