Queensland 1874 4d Proof in yellow No wmk Perf 13 SCARCE (with gum) with ring cancel

This is a proof from the 1873/74 period when the Truncated Star watermark was being superseded by the re-issue of stamps on Crown Q paper. The black ring cancel in ink seems to have been used for stamps presented to dignitaries.
