South Australia SG3. 1855 6d. Stamp-size die proof in black produced by Perkins Bacon affixed to card (35 × 50 mm). A tiny corner defect at lower right otherwise a superb and Exceedingly Rare Proof. Believed to be one of only two examples in private hands with just one further example recorded in the Royal Collection. A wonderful and highly important showpiece absent from virtually every award-winning collection formed over the past 75 years. Accompanied by BPA and RPS certificates (2025).
