1841 Penny Red (EL) Burghead Manuscript Cancellation on Cover

Posted from Burghead near Elgin (with a Burghead Penny Post at top left) to South Bridge via Edinburgh. Cancelled in Manuscript at Burghead as they didnt receive a Maltese Cross but was not cancelled with a Maltese Cross on arrival at Edinburgh where it only received a Backstamp dated 26th December 1841
